Diplômée en graphisme, Wendy fonde Maiko Studio en 2011 et se spécialise en design éditorial : transformer des contenus - textes, photos, illustrations - en expériences de lecture, grâce à l'architecture de l'information, la hiérarchie visuelle, la typographie ou encore la mise en page. A graphic design graduate, Wendy founded Maiko Studio in 2011 and specialised in editorial design: turning content - text, photography, illustration - into reading experiences, through information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography and layout.
En 2023, elle co-fonde Parlà, maison d'édition dédiée au témoignage et au récit de vie. In 2023, she co-founded Parlà, a publishing house dedicated to testimony and life stories.
Le cinéma la passionne depuis toujours ; les sciences humaines l'intéressent depuis longtemps. Elle valide plusieurs cours de psycho à l'Université de Liège, se forme à la cinémathérapie - et l'idée d'explorer le terrain où les deux se rencontrent fait son chemin. Cinema has always been a passion; the humanities, a long-standing interest. She completed several psychology courses at the University of Liège, trained in cinema therapy - and the idea of exploring the ground where the two meet started to take root.
Le projet Willow grandit ainsi, petit à petit, depuis près de dix ans. Il a aujourd'hui assez de racines pour déployer ses premières branches. The Willow project has been growing, little by little, for nearly ten years. Today, its roots run deep enough for it to break ground.
